For the first 3-4 hours after the operation, the patient is prohibited from eating and drinking until the effect of the anesthesia is completely gone. Your nurse will let you know when to take food by mouth.
In general, plenty of warm water should be drunk, soft, warm and non-irritating foods should be taken.
On the day of surgery and the next day, small amounts of water, milk, fruit juices, compote, sherbet, ice cream, grain-free soup, iced tea, ayran can be taken at frequent intervals.

After the day, a normal diet that does not irritate and is not too hot can be started. For two weeks, irritating hard and sharp foods such as bread edge, crackers, potato chips should be avoided.

Children should rest at home for 2-3 days after the surgery, and stay away from sports for two weeks.
