They are the most common congenital neck masses on the lateral side of the neck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four types of branchial cysts and a second branchial cyst is seen in 95% of the cases. BR It usually occurs between the ages of 20-40. Its late appearance is due to the growth of the cyst as a result of previous upper respiratory tract infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diagnosis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clinical findings are established by radiological examinations such as neck ultrasound or computed tomography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treatment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Branchial cleft cysts; Recurring infections should be treated because of cosmetic deformity and potential for future cancer.
